Instead, she chirps or brrps. She has just had her first litter and after settling them decides to get a bit of fresh air occasionally. As she starts to walk away, she listens out for them and ifany of them start crying she makes the most peculiar noise, almost like a foghorn which seems to come from deep inside her belly.
This seems to quieten the kittens and she goes out for her half hour. Is this unusual or does anyone else have a cat that makes peculiar noises?
