I have a friend who wants to get herself checked for breast cancer (she has already done the self-examination but found a hard, irregular bump and is concerned). She does not have medical insurance and money is a factor. Does anyone in the Las Vegas, Nevada area know if there are any clinics that do not ask for insurance and are inexpensive, for a quick checkup? If only to calm her down just in case it's nothing to be alarmed about.
I found one for $150 for an exam, but she is paying through college and these are hard times. Just wondering if there is another, cheaper option. Any information will help and be appreciated.
