PHOTO EXHIBITION ON GLOBAL CLIMATE CHALLENGES OPENS TOMORROW AT HEADQUARTERS

The Department of Public Information is pleased to announce the opening of an exhibition of photographs entitled “Our Changing Environment: Global Climate Challenges” on Tuesday, 10 June, from 5:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. in the presence of UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

Located at the Peace Bell Wall between the Secretariat and Visitors’ lobbies at United Nations Headquarters in New York, the exhibition is designed to illustrate one of the United Nations top priorities: addressing the causes and the impact of widespread changes occurring in Earth’s environment.

Created from the Department’s Photo Library archives, the exhibition consists of dramatic images captured by the roving lens of the United Nations photographers, both past and present.
