LifeBound provided training sessions for academic coaches, at their office in Denver

Trainees included teachers, counselors, principles, mentors, seminar leaders, trainers and athletic coaches. Academic coaches come to trainings from across the nation, in order to enrich their lives, through enriching the lives of their students, by one-on-one coaching and tutoring.

After these training sessions, academic coaches can receive a certification from LifeBound, to become a LifeBound coach, or they can simply come to gain more knowledge on how to better serve their students through improved coaching skills. In order to gain certification, attendees must attend a training session for seventy two hours.

Some topics which are focused on during training sessions for coaching skills include: how to coach teens/college student and returning students, how to ask powerful questions, how to promote personal accountability and how to design an alliance.
