SECURITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ON LIBERIA UPDATES INFORMATION ON TRAVEL BAN, ASSETS FREEZE LISTS

On 17 July 2008, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1521 (2003) concerning Liberia decided to update the passport details for one individual whose name is included on both the list of individuals subject to the travel restrictions imposed by paragraph 4 (a) of resolution 1521 (2003) (the travel ban list) and the list of individuals and entities subject to the measures imposed by paragraph 1 of Security Council resolution 1532 (2004) (the assets freeze list), as follows:

The latest version of the travel ban and assets freeze lists is available on the Committee’s website: http://www.un.org/sc/committees/1521/index.shtml.

The Committee will continue to update the list on a regular basis.
