Franchise partner satisfaction garners company 6th best ranking in North America
Nurse Next Door Home Healthcare Services took another step forward on its journey to becoming a globally admired brand with recognition as North America’s 6th best midsize franchise system. Franchise Business Review (FBR), an international franchise market research firm, bestowed Canada’s fastest growing homecare franchise system with the 6th spot on its 2009 Franchisee Satisfaction Awards top 50 list.
FBR’s annual list recognizes the best franchise systems in North America in terms of franchisee satisfaction by conducting independent surveys of franchisees from hundreds of systems across North America. The survey is considered an important resource tool for prospective franchisees as it focuses on training, support, operations, franchisor/franchisee relations and financial opportunity with an unbiased, third-party view.
“We’re thrilled to be recognized among North America’s best franchise systems,” said John DeHart, co-founder of Nurse Next Door. “We have been growing at a torrid pace and this award shows we’ve done it in a way that puts our franchise partners first.”
Nurse Next Door has been rapidly expanding across Canada adding about 2 locations each month recently. Franchising since 2007, the company currently has 22 franchise locations across the country offering both medical and non-medical in-home care to seniors. Services range from a few hours of companionship per week to round-the-clock nursing care.
“We have very ambitious expansion goals,” adds Ken Sim, the other half of Nurse Next Door’s co-founding team, “but we know the only way we will be able to achieve our goals is to ensure the success of our current franchise partners.”
With 92% of franchise partners taking part in the survey, Nurse Next Door achieved an overall satisfaction result of 87% compared to a franchise industry average of 65%. With a lofty benchmark now set, Nurse Next Door is focused on improving on this result in the coming years.
