LDS Defenders of the Faith Expands Conference to Internet
REDDING, CA, July 30, 2009: The Foundation for Apologetic Information and Research, more popularly known as FAIR, will hold its eleventh annual conference on Thursday and Friday, 6-7 August, at the South Towne Exposition Center in Sandy, Utah. Based on historical information and advance registrations, close to 300 people will gather for this year's event.
This year FAIR will be video streaming the conference over the Internet for the first time. "FAIR is an organization that grew up defending false claims on the Web," said FAIR president Scott Gordon. "It only makes sense that we provide our conference on the Web as well." FAIR is known for defending the LDS faith by providing a faithful perspective to controversial issues. The conference and Web streaming video are open to all. Conference registration and Web streaming information is at www.fairlds.org.
For more information concerning the conference, presenters and topics, please go to www.fairlds.org or contact Scott Gordon at 530-356-2070.
