Flash Shoutcast Player V1.5 Released - Cross-browser compatible listening solution

Online radio stations often miss out on listeners because they are not providing a cross browser compatible listening solution.

Flash was not originally designed to play Shoutcast-based web streams, which is why Flash Radio Player developer Turnkey Buddy has created a rock-solid Shoutcast radio player, featuring advanced stream overlay functionality to prevent common issues like memory leaks and random computer crashes which are present at similar products, available from different vendors.

"There are great streaming solutions available which can be used to get a stream going - the most popular one being Shoutcast. However, to listen to a Shoutcast stream, listeners need third party software like Winamp or Windows Media Player if they want to be able to listen. We have developed a cross browser compatible flash radio player which solves this problem and allows listeners to simply tune in." Mr. Hirte , a Turnkey Buddy developer said.

98.7% of all internet users have the Flash Player installed already, which means that no extra software like Windows Media Player or Winamp must be installed to listen to a web radio stream.

"We have seen many vendors who are selling so called 'Shoutcast Flash Players', but most - if not all - products have issues with memory leaks and random computer crashes. We have analyzed this problem and came up with a patent-pending advanced stream overlay solution to overcome this problem.", Mr. Hirte added.

Many large radio stations and radio stream host providers are using Turnkey Buddy's Flash Radio Player since many months to provide a rock-solid listening experience to their listeners.

Each radio player is custom designed based on a client's needs and comes by default with features like a volume bar, start/stop buttons and the current song info.
