Tenders invited for management and maintenance of roads in Kowloon West

Hong Kong (HKSAR) - The Highways Department today (November 6) invited tenders for a four-year maintenance term contract on the "Management and Maintenance of Roads in Kowloon West Excluding High Speed Roads 2010-2014"(Contract No 13/HY/2009). The works mainly comprise the management and maintenance of public roads (excluding high speed roads) in Kowloon West, including associated slopes, highway structures, landscaping and minor improvement works. This contract will be supervised by the Urban Region of the Highways Department.

The contract term will be from April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2014. Tender submissions should be placed in the Government Secretariat Tender Box located at the lift lobby on the lower ground floor of the Central Government Offices (East Wing), 20 Lower Albert Road, Hong Kong.Submission of tenders will be closed at noon on December 18.
