GDETO renders assistance to HK residents in vessel collision


Hong Kong (HKSAR) - Referring to a vessel collision in Lin Hua Shan Port, Panyu yesterday (November 5), the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong (GDETO) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government has sent immigration officers this (November 6) morning to visit two Hong Kong residents who were injured in the incident and to offer appropriate assistance. They were admitted to hospital after the incident.One of them has been discharged after receiving medical treatment. GDETO will continue to follow up the incident and maintain contacts with the injured persons to render all practical assistance.

Any Hong Kong residents who need assistance may contact the Immigration Department's "Assistance to Hong Kong Residents Unit" 24-hour hotline at (852) 1868.
