Police appeal for witnesses to fatal traffic accident in Sheung Shui


Hong Kong (HKSAR) - Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal traffic accident in Sheung Shui last week in which an 86-year-old woman was injured and certified dead later in hospital. About 2.48pm on November 10, a private car driven by a 32-year-old man was travelling along Wo Fung Street, Sheung Shui. When the private car turned right into Luen Fat Street, it collided with a trolley pushed by an 86-year-old woman.

The woman sustained abdominal injuries and was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital where she was certified dead at 8.55am on November 13. Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are continuing. Anyone who witnessed the accident or has information to offer is urged to contact the investigating officers at 3661 3860 or 3661 3800.
