Solectria Renewables Expands Facility to 800MW Capacity
Solectria Renewables, LLC, the leading U.S. PV inverter manufacturer, will host a ribbon cutting ceremony and factory tour at 3:30 pm today to celebrate its 800MW manufacturing capacity expansion at its facility in Lawrence, MA.
The celebration will be attended by distinguished Commonwealth of Massachusetts officials including Niki Tsongas, Congresswoman, 5th District; Phil Giudice, Energy Undersecretary, Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs; Mark Silvia, Commissioner, DOER; and Barry Finegold, State Senator.
“It is an honor to be a part of this celebration,” said Congresswoman Niki Tsongas. “Solectria’s expansion in Lawrence is creating clean energy jobs in our own backyard while promoting reliable, domestically produced sources of energy.”
Since 2009, Solectria Renewables has contributed to clean energy jobs by increasing:
• Total number of employees by 195%
• Professional staff by 140% inclusive of engineering
• Customer service staff with technicians by 200%
• Manufacturing jobs by 240%
