New District Officer for Tuen Mun assumes office

Hong Kong (HKSAR) - Mr David Lau Kam-kuen will assume the post of District Officer (Tuen Mun) tomorrow (May 7), succeeding Mr Eddie Cheung.

Mr Lau joined the Administrative Service in 1992. He has served in various bureaux and departments, including the former Transport Branch, the former City and New Territories Administration, the Home Affairs Department, the former Trade and Industry Bureau, the former Constitutional Affairs Bureau, the former Health, Welfare and Food Bureau and the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau.

He was the Principal Assistant Secretary for Security before taking up the new post.
