All London Olympics' Mainland gold medallists to visit Hong Kong

Hong Kong (HKSAR) - A spokesman for the Home Affairs Bureau (HAB) today (August 18) announced the receipt of confirmation from the Chinese Olympic Committee (COC) that all the London Olympic Games' Mainland gold medallists will be joining the upcoming visit to Hong Kong.

We are extremely grateful to the COC for their support, the spokesman said.

The three-day visit will start from August 24, covering the "Mainland Olympic Gold Medallists Sports Demonstrations", an exchange session with youth uniformed groups as well as the "Mainland Olympic Gold Medallists Extravaganza" on August 25.

Tickets of the Extravaganza are still available for purchase by members of the public at 43 URBTIX outlets, on the Internet via the URBTIX websiteï¼www.urbtix.hk), or via the credit card telephone booking hotline 2111 5999. Audience will have the chance to get up close with the gold medallists.

The delegation will leave Hong Kong on the afternoon of August 26.
