Hong Kong (HKSAR) - The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Tsang Tak-sing, will depart for Shenzhen this afternoon (March 11) to explore opportunities for enhancing cultural and other exchanges between Hong Kong and Shenzhen. He will call on relevant departments and meet with Shenzhen officials.

During his trip, Mr Tsang will separately visit and have meetings with the Shenzhen Youth Federation and the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Culture, Sport and Tourism. He will then pay a visit to the Shenzhen Hong Kong Design Gallery.

The Shenzhen Hong Kong Design Gallery, which opened last September, presents and promotes creative products by designers from Hong Kong and Shenzhen. With a good mix of traditional and modern styles from Shenzhen and Hong Kong, the products aim to suit the tastes and needs of people in the city and the cultural circle.
