The Leisure and Cultural Services Department has announced that Tong Fuk Beach in Islands District has been reopened today (September 9). The beach was temporarily closed earlier for clearance work and maintenance of the shark prevention net after the typhoon.

Meanwhile, Deep Water Bay Beach and Chung Hom Kok Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island, and Lower Cheung Sha Beach in Islands District remain closed until further notice as more time is needed for repairing damaged shark prevention nets or clearing debris due to the typhoon's impact.
