Tsuen Wan District Road Safety Carnival to be held tomorrow

Hong Kong (HKSAR) - The following is issued on behalf of the Road Safety Council:

     The Road Safety Council and New Territories South Traffic Headquarters of the Hong Kong Police Force will jointly hold the Tsuen Wan District Road Safety Carnival at 2pm tomorrow (November 12) at Sha Tsui Road Playground in Tsuen Wan. Members of the public are welcome to participate.

     Programme highlights will include a variety show, booth games and a road safety education exhibition. There will also be an electric car playground for children.

     The carnival will be officiated by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic New Territories South, Mr Michael Armstrong; the Deputy District Commander (Tsuen Wan), Ms Margaret Chiu; the Regional Commander of the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol (New Territories South Region), Mr Lee Kar-ki; the Chairman of the Tsuen Wan District Council, Mr Chung Wai-ping; the Chairman of the Traffic and Transport Committee of the Tsuen Wan District Council, Mr Lo Siu-kit; and the Assistant District Officer (Tsuen Wan), Mr Gary Chow.
