Government accepts resignation of Chairman of Communications Authority


Hong Kong (HKSAR) -      A Government spokesman said that the Chief Executive has accepted the resignation of Mr Wong Kwai-huen as the Chairman of the Communications Authority today (February 12).

     The Commerce and Economic Development Bureau will identify a suitable candidate in accordance with the established procedure as soon as possible for the Chief Executive's consideration and appointment to assume the chairmanship of the Communications Authority.

     The Government will announce the appointment at an appropriate time.
