SENIOR WEB / UI DEVELOPERThis role is part of a small elite group which will include a strategist, project manager, architect, developers, and analysts to create a new world-class enterprise platform for MRU's next phase. Help us create an enterprise system that you can be proud of for years to come.Position:o Write the presentation layer of a cutting-edge, analytics-driven business intelligence portal system built on a sophisticated rules engineo Hands-on involvement in every phase of development: design, code, test and document softwareo Work with veteran designer to create UI frameworks and componentso Rapidly create fully-functional prototypes wired to sample datasets, with help from data architect and back-end developerso Organize requirements into development tasks and executeo This is not a UI design or management roleRequirements:o 5+ years of comprehensive experience in web-application developmento 5+ years of D/XHTML, JavaScript, CSS 2 and preferably Flash/Flexo 2+ years of ASP.Net, JSP, PHP or other frameworks used to develop dynamic web pageso 2+ years of AJAX development experience:o Back button, history, state and bookmarks' Single-page interface? Browser-server interactions' Event and object modeling? Programming patterns' AJAX libraries and toolso Experience with popular JavaScript frameworks (Prototype, YUI, Dojo, etc)o Experience with JSON and XML: XSLT, DTD modeling, DOM / XPath / SAX parsingo Strong knowledge of OO design, common design patterns and MVC modelingo Full command of cross-browser / performance / web-standards issuesHighly preferred:o BS/MS in Computer Science or comparable enterprise work experienceo Experience with web services/SOAP, SOA or other web-based, multi-tier architectures, preferably implemented in .Neto Experience with Flash/Flex (Object Oriented Action Script 2/3, Flash Remoting, Data Binding, Components, etc.)o Experience developing accessible websites (Section 508, W3C WAI Guidelines, etc.)o Experience with web analytics Solutions (Omniture, WebSideStory, WebTrends, etc.)o Experience in API designo Knowledge of SQL Server, SharePoint, Visual Studioo Experience with Agile development methodologies: short-development iterations, test-driven development and refactoringDETAILS--Salary range: $150+ total comp: $100-$120k base +stock options +performance-based bonus We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
