(New York, NY) Seeking an experienced PHP/MySQL developer to join a small, focused web team at a major New York City non-profit. We are looking for an individual who is excited about building standards-based websites in the service of social change and a charitable mission. Upcoming projects include: rebuilding our employee extranet, upgrading our current site (Drupal 4.7 to 5.3), and creating branded mini-sites for specific programs.

Candidate must be a proficient, immediate contributor in both front-end (Javascript/AJAX/PHP template theming) and back-end development (PHP/MySQL programming and CMS maintenance and administration). Drupal upgrade experience extremely desirable. Responsibilities will include optimizing legacy PHP/MySQL code and hand coding valid, semantic XHTML/CSS. Specific experience with the Drupal API, jQuery, version control, and e-commerce a huge plus.
