Software Engineer, PHP/LAMP

TokBox is looking for experienced software engineers to help build out the TokBox site. We build services to connect out to users through instant messaging, email, and our Flash player. Engineers interested in this role should be experienced at building scalable, high-performance, secure object-oriented web applications in PHP (or similar languages like Python, Ruby, or Perl). This is a full-time position based in San Francisco, CA. We are not currently interested in hiring contractors for this position. The ideal candidate will demonstrate many of the following professional competencies: - BS, MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science
- 3+ years experience working on shipping products or significant open-source projects
- Working knowledge of developing scalable web systems
- Experience with server-side web frameworks, especially LAMP
