myJambi, Inc.: Lead Developer
(New York, NY) In a month from now we'd be posting this ad on our own site, myJambi.com, a social marketplace for services. We've kick-started development in Ruby on Rails with a fantastic New York-based external development team. Now, we're excited to be hiring a lead in-house developer. This is a unique position. You are getting in on the ground floor of a well-funded start-up that already has a dedicated and enthusiastic business team and a site that is launching into alpha shortly. Requirements:
+ 3-4 years' development experience in Ruby on Rails, Python / Django, PHP / Symfony
+ Experience with agile and test-driven development
+ High front-end sensitivity
+ Comfortable with semantic XHTML/CSS
+ Familiarity with both e-commerce and social networking. Stock options
