The Chronicle of Higher Education: Web Developer
(Washington, DC) The Web Developer will be responsible for the building and maintenance of web applications that interact with databases across multiple websites. The ideal candidate will have experience with building high-traffic websites. Knowledge of building websites using PHP, MySQL, Apache and Linux is essential. Familiarity with PHP-based Content Management Systems, Shell scripting, Perl, JavaScript, DOM, CSS, Pear and/or LDAP is preferred. Two-three years of related experiences is required. It is vital to be self-motivated, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, have the ability to work in a collaborative deadline-driven environment, and pay close attention to detail.
