(Washington, DC) You're an expert XHTML/CSS coder; you strive for appropriate, not just dogmatic, separation of style and markup. You're a skilled visual and UI designer, working in Photoshop or code when appropriate.

You'll be designing microsites, new sections of the service, and building systems of markup and stylesheets that drive dozens of sections and tens of thousands of graphically rich pages.

We work in a close team environment, with regular critiques of each others' work. No primadonnas.

This is a full-time contract position at National Geographic's headquarters in downtown Washington DC. Salary is competitive.
