(Arlington, VA) The Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) seeks candidates for the position of Technician. The incumbent responsibilities shall include:
installation, testing, troubleshooting for production, post-production and broadcast technical systems. We are seeking a Technician who will: +Maintain IP based Broadcast systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades, on both hardware and software aspects of the systems
+Assist in design and installation of new systems and equipment Candidates must possess 2 years experience in an engineering / maintenance role in a 24x7x265 broadcast environment; ability to understand failure mechanisms of complex electronic systems.
