The Technical Architect is an indispensable technology leader, innovator, and visionary within frog design.
The TA defines the technology roadmap and design vision for each software or digital media project. The TA is a highly respected role that is responsible for software application architecture, use case discovery, and recommending appropriate technology platforms/tools/practices. TAs are expected to be key contributors across all studios for creating and improving tools, processes, and best practices
In each project, the TA serves as the technical design ‘go-to person’ and is responsible for driving the technology solution from concept to completion by working with multi-disciplinary frog teams. The architect assesses and communicates the impactof technical decisions to the frog project team and the client. TAs also participate in evaluating deliverables to ensure they meet established requirements. Additionally, an architect will author and maintain design documents, database/schema design, software requirements specifications, and high-level software architecture documents.
Frequently called to assist business development, the TA utilizes creativity and technical savvy to guide proposals and client discussions. TAs may also be called on to assist other frog design studios.
To be considered, candidates must show leadership experience at the Senior Developer or Architect level and have industry domain experience in at least one of the following:

Mobile applications – particularly in BREW, Symbian (UIQ or Nokia Series 60), or Microsoft Mobile ·
PC/Web applications – Microsoft .NET 2 or .NET 3, J2SE, AJAX, QT Desktop, or Adobe Flash / Apollo ·
N-tier applications – Microsoft .NET, LAMP, J2EE Ideal candidates will have a recent work history of successful software releases. Experience with distributed systems, object-oriented design, and taking projects through an entire software release required. Enterprise deployment experience with n-tier systems, content aggregation, search engines, globalization, accessibility, and content management systems a plus.
