(New York, NY) The Book Report Network seeks an entry-level web developer/producer to maintain our well- respected editorial websites, which include bookreporter.com, kidsreads.com and teenreads.com that serve more than 1.6 million readers each month. Specific responsibilities include building features and maintaining sites adding new content. Attention to detail is a must as well as the ability to work quickly and smartly as this is a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
+ Complete knowledge of and ability to hand code HTML
+ working knowledge of XHTML, CSS, and standards based development
+ experience with WYSIWYG programs like Dreamweaver
+ understanding of cross browser/platform compatibility requirements
+ ability to do basic image manipulation and optimization for the web and basic knowledge of Photoshop and ImageReady
