Job Title: MARKETING MANAGER

Position Description
Ustream.TV is looking for an outbound marketing manager to let the world know that they can now broadcast the moment—through live interactive broadcasting. We’ll looking for a person to create, lead and execute marketing programs to tell the world about our services. 

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in executing online marketing programs in the consumer, Internet, or media industries. This experience should include such areas as: online marketing campaigns, outbound email, online events, and online advertising..  Candidate must be a self-starter that can effectively translate their in-depth understanding of social media into marketing campaigns. 
* Drive marketing/PR campaigns to outreach beyond early-adopter tech circles, with the clear goal of acquiring mass viewership and traffic
* Manage the brand at all levels of operations on a day-to-day basis
* Manage relationship/campaigns with our public relations firm and those of our partners
* Create collateral: Write articles, press releases, blog entries and other collateral to articulate company vision and position within target vertical industries
* Track and report on effectiveness of various marketing activities
* Expand media outreach and coverage in mainstream and core-vertical publications  HuH?
* Coordinate with the sales department to research new market opportunities and create effective collateral/presentations
* Perform other marketing-related duties as required 

Qualifications
The successful marketing manager will have a good combination of strategy and execution skills that enable them to discover simple, elegant solutions to complex problems and manage multiple projects simultaneously.  The right candidate will be a highly-motivated self-starter with:

* 3+ years of online and offline marketing experience, preferably in a consumer Internet company
* Media, entertainment and/or startup industry experience is valuable
* Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
* Attention to details
* An eye for exceptional aesthetic design
* Ability to think and communicate strategically with a variety of people
* Active user of social media
