Product Analyst

Calling all smart, driven web professionals that want to work for the top e-commerce company in Chicago: Orbitz Worldwide is seeking a talented product analyst to help us realize the future of online travel. You will help define the vision and strategy for the customer shopping experience, and work with skilled technologists to deliver that vision.

The Product Analyst will be responsible for defining and implementing new features, analyzing customer behavior, and understanding the competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

• Defining and implementing new features – Write business and functional requirements that clearly define the “what” and enable developers to creatively determine the “how”.
  
• Analyzing customer behavior – Use web analytics, usability studies, and customer feedback to understand and improve our customer experience.
  
• Understanding the competitive landscape – Know the strengths and weaknesses of our competition. Identify improvements which close functional gaps and align with our core competencies.
  

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  
• Experience developing Internet products and technologies (Product management and agile programming experience a plus).
  
• Familiarity with business issues, or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn.
  
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  
• Track record of success.
