(Chicago, IL) The Point is looking for a Web UI developer with very strong XHTML/CSS/Javascript skills and a solid understanding of modern web standards.

You will:

* build a world-class web UI implementation using modern web standards.
* create a strategy for clean css, semantic markup and clear, unobtrusive behavior that works across multiple modern browsers.
* contribute to visual design (UI elements, layout, typography), IA and UX.
* have a working knowledge of Ruby on Rails or familiarity with an equivalent web framework.
* have a nearly-unhealthy attention to detail.
* thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Specific skills required:

* XHTML, CSS, Javascript, web standards

Nice to have:

* Ruby on Rails
* Flash, Google Analytics, SEO
