mtvU Online are looking for an senior java developer capable of analyzing, designing and implementing Java/J2EE development projects. Manage full life-cycle development using agile development methodologies. Possess a strong knowledge of best-of-breed practices and keep abreast of industry developments Strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure coordination, and focus efforts between departments, vendors and their own reports.

Minimum Job Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.
  
• Experience in the Java/J2EE environment
  
• Strong analytical skills
  
• Experience with procedures in providing Java/J2EE transaction processing systems
  
• Enthusiasm and consistency in performance
  
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  
• Creative problem solving skills
  
• Team oriented
  
• Experience of JBoss configuration, JMS, Hibernate, and EJB development; XML
  
• Experience with version control, build scripts and unit testing;
  
• Strong background in SQL and database performance
  
• Working knowledge of middleware, server (UNIX, Windows), database, and networking technologies
  
• Experience and ability to work with multiple application servers (JBoss, Geronimon, Weblogic, Webspehere etc.).
  
• Experience with XML, XSL, SOA and WebServices.
  
• Strong background in SQL and database performance with knowledge and awareness of multiple database servers (MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL)
