Position Overview: NOVA and WGBH Interactive, are looking for a new Web Developer. The Web Developer for http://pbs.org/nova work closely with interactive designers and NOVA producers to produce the highly trafficked, user-friendly, engaging and educational web. The NOVA Web Developer will maintain, document and develop the technical architecture of the web site and contribute to design and strategic planning processes. As part of a small-cross functional team working on a web site, the Web Developer's role will include requirements gathering, writing technical specifications (including testing procedures) and interfacing with vendors and distributors (i.e. PBS.org) as well as writing code for the weekly site launches.
