Our company has a vision for a product - a new Research and Discovery site that marries collaborative shopping with IM and other new technologies. The company has obtained Series A funding and we are now building the team. Positions now offer a generous compensation package that includes market rate salaries with equity participation.
You will develop the front end of our website. This includes developing interactive web features (like chat, video chat), toolbars for our service, or making the service iPhone ready. Our ideal candidate must have built powerful, yet simple to use heavily trafficked consumer web applications that respond and anticipate the user’s navigation.
Requirements
·
Experience in designing Rich Internet Applications
·
Expert in
AJAX
and knowledge of major AJAX/web frameworks and technologies and features like Drag and Drop.
·
Comet or similar toolkits.
·
Mastery of JavaScript
·
Strong HTML, DHTML, XHTML &
CSS
with knowledge of cross browser compatibility
·
Understanding of contemporary Web development tools,
MVC
frameworks
·
Knowledge of full-cycle software engineering process and development methodologies
·
Passion for new web technologies
·
BS/MS in CS or equivalent
Desired
·
Experience with Flash, ActionScript, Flex and related technologies
·
Agile development
·
Master’s Preferred
