WEB EDITOR FOR US MARKET

OVERVIEW:

We are looking for  a Web Editor for the launching and maintenance of the English version of
http://www.redkaraoke.com
, the leader social network for people who love singing, focused in the US market.

In this position you will be responsible to manage all the aspects of the website for your country, working in close relationship with the Head Quarters of the company (based on Madrid, Spain). You will report directly to the International Product Manager and the CEO of the company, and you will work with the rest of the Board members in order to manage the contents, user attention, new services and contents, PR and marketing issues, and sales & new business opportunities for your market.

This is a full-time, permanent position. At the beginning work can be done remotely after a training in Madrid (Spain). You will have the opportunity to growth with a young company and create your own team. This profile is oriented to be the Country Manager for US.

As Web Editor in Red Karaoke you will combine your online experience managing users (specially on community sites), your knowledge about music, and your skills as writer. And of course you can develop your skills and experience around the online businesses.

REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for a young person with some experience on the online business and with ambitions to be in the near future the Country Manager of a big social network on the US market. So, to apply for this position you must have:

· At least two years of experience in jobs related with Internet: portals, online media, social networks or virtual communities and web 2.0

· Journalist background or related (for example articles in the web or blogs).

· Experience with community tools (forums, blogs, videos, widgets, etc) like heavy user or better if you have managed a community

· Good knowledge about the advertising online market.

· Enjoy working into music culture (hits, groups, tendencies')

· Good knowledge of Spanish language

· Based on the US, and it is better if you live on San Francisco area.


RESPONSABILITIES:

· Animation and maintenance of the website ( publish articles in the blog, solve users demands/questions, post comments in the forum, upload karaoke files, videos, etc.)

· Business Development Support. Work close to Sales Director supporting the sales strategies.

· Supporting Marketing strategies. Report to Marketing & PR Director and coordinate releases, Media news and viral marketing
