We are looking for a Vice President of Business Development with a sophisticated knowledge of online advertising and a broad understanding of media. You (and your teams) will have proven business development track records of reaching and exceeding quota. You will have existing successful relationships with media tools customers and will have the ability to quickly reach and convene decision makers, introduce a new technical solution and secure adoption. You will also contribute your vision, experience and hard work to help make Keibi a great company.
 
Responsibilities – Core Areas
  • Channel and Partner Sales
    – develop strategies and programs, including sourcing and evaluating new systems integrators, business partners, technologies and corporate alliances. Ensure execution of creative deals and ongoing management of relationships.  
  • Revenue Goal
    - establish through collaborative meetings with other Executives and Board Members, including establishment of individual business development rep goals and managing the entire process from sourcing through rollout.
  • Compensation Plans
    - set appropriate and competitive compensation plans based on OTE and other key metrics to attract and retrain the best business development staff.
  • Strategic planning
    including corporate positioning, market and competitive analysis events.
  • Corporate Development
    – manage all stages of the deal cycle including prospecting, qualifying, deal-modeling, proposals, negotiations and implementation transitions.
 
Responsibilities – Other Key Functions
  • Work with the CEO and the other executive team members to identify and develop strategic alliances, communicate with board members, and close/grow major accounts.
  • Work with VP of Sales & Marketing to develop partner marketing programs, sales training, presentations, sales tools, competitive analysis and general sales support.
  • Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all business development programs and activities.
  • Ensure effective visibility in the industry and ensure that Keibi is “top of mind” with potential business and strategic partners.
  • Be a role model for the company culture.
  • Act as spokesperson for the company with press and analysts and at industry events.
 
Requirements
  • 10+ years software business development experience in comparable industries, with deep
    online advertising domain expertise and
    4+ years in a VP or Sr. Director position. 
  • Proven track record of selling strategic, innovative, high-value, service-based solutions to “C” level executives.
  • Experience with SaaS enterprise solutions in related industries will be important.
  • Knowledge of the interactive advertising ecosystem is essential.
  • Possess strong negotiation skills and solidly manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be able to think creatively “on your feet” and have a proven track record in aligning and driving deals to successful completion in consultative approach.
  • Exceptional track record that others will vouch for.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
  • Substantial experience working with business and industry executives.
  • Strong strategic planning and analysis skills in business development, sales, marketing, and business (competitive) strategy.
  • Effective public speaking skills and “Board Level” presentation skills and presence.
  • Capacity to assume more significant executive responsibilities over time.
  • M.B.A. desired.
