(Washington, DC) Grassroots Enterprise has an immediate opening for a Front-End Web Developer, working in our Washington DC office, to contribute to the delivery of consulting and technology services to clients and the ongoing development of our software platform. Previous experience working in the public affairs field is a plus but not a prerequisite.

Qualifications:

* Expert skill in producing markup for sites using Photoshop, Illustrator, XHTML and CSS

* Fervent devotion to web standards

* Experience with Javascript and popular libraries such as JQuery, Prototype

* Experience with Ajax techniques a plus, as is familiarity with XML, XSL, JSON

* Experience with popular blogging tools and open source publishing software a plus (like Wordpress, MoveableType)

* Strong ability to convey and present ideas in writing and in person
