+with client areas to identify needs and develop creative solutions focused on interactivity and ease of use. Stay current with emerging web 'technologies and recommend development techniques that will support Purdue's computing capabilities.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two years experience developing web applications with scripting languages such as PHP, Python or Perl in conjunction with a database such as MySQL or Oracle. Proven success in web design and developing relational, database-driven web applications. Extensive knowledge of HTML and web scripting languages such as PHP, Python, or Perl. Exceptional visual communication skills and strong written communication skills. Self-starter with demonstrated experience managing projects and working independently and as a team member. Ability to translate concepts into effective and functional electronic communication. Ability to research and learn new software and technologies and use them creatively. Ability to build and maintain 'relationships with customers and colleagues.
