Sugarspun Industries, a Manhattan-based web agency, is seeking an entry- to mid-level web developer with an excellent command of current web technologies and a thirst to learn more. Our needs focus on PHP & mySQL development, but will extend to HTML, CSS & JS. The ability to juggle multiple projects of varying magnitude, general curiosity, clean coding practices, strong organizational skills and a sense of humor are all musts. Responsibilities will include site architecture, sandboxing and dev of sites ranging from single page teasers to templated CMS solutions. You will work with a wide variety of clients from financial services to photographers to schools. 

All projects are team-based - you will be working closely with designers, developers and agency principals. We know telecommuting is great but we need you in the office.

This position is temp to perm.

Qualifications:

• Airtight development skills: PHP & mySQL

• Clear understanding of front-end development: HTML, CSS & JS

• Eye for efficiency, security & standards

• Code commenting captain

• Hatred for WYSIWYG dev apps
