Polychrome:Front-End Web Developer (CSS/Javascript)

(Los Angeles, CA) The BUILDER position will work directly with Polychrome's Technical Director to lead interface and front-end development of all of Polychrome's client and internal projects.

This person should be a proper web geek with an expert understanding of xhtml, css, javascript (concentration on jquery and other frameworks), json, xml and utilization of web APIs. The BUILDER should also have a keen sense for good design, constant attention to detail and a personal philosophy of doing work the "right way". The BUILDER should also have a general/working understanding of Flash, Flex and AS3 sufficient to build widgets and integrate media into websites.

Polychrome develops most of it's sites and applications in PHP or Python so a working understanding of these languages is a huge plus.

Since the BUILDER will be a core member of Polychrome, they will need to be able to concept, brainstorm and most importantly, communicate with both clients and fellow Polychromers.

Finally, the BUILDER should want to be excited to grow their knowledge, follow technology closely and interacting with design, art and technology communities both online and in "the real world"

Must work with all Adobe design applications (PS,FW,AI,FL).

Must be in LA. This is not a virtual position.
