CreateSpace is looking for an experienced software engineer to help indie musicians, filmmakers, and authors get their works published all over the world fast and without breaking the bank. CreateSpace also works with enterprise content, including Joss Wheedon’s “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.”

Our team will give you daily opportunities to use your ingenuity, drive, and passion to build world class, customer focused software. This position requires a B.Sc. in computer science, similar technical field, or equivalent experience. To be successful you’ll need experience in things like Java or C++, SOA or distributed systems, databases, and great communication skills. We don’t do design-by-committee so architecture skills, knowledge of design patterns, and strong fundamentals are a big plus. You are the type of person that codes for fun, quickly wins the respect of peers, and jumps at the chance to share knowledge and mentor.
