Blooms Today, a National sales and marketing company for the floral industry, is looking for a strong coder to work in our corporate office in Northern Virginia.

DUTIES: Maintain two proprietary code bases: a web-based system that integrates with a VOIP PBX and represents the state of the art in floral industry order fulfillment technology, and an e-commerce website that is one of the most visited in the floral industry.  Take a leadership role in exciting new software development initiatives that directly affect daily sales and operations.  Administrate high-end hardware in a cutting-edge facility.

QUALIFICATIONS: 1-3 years of similar work or outstanding academic credentials in a technology-related discipline or completion of a demonstrable body of work involving the required skills.

REQUIRED: Very strong coding skills.

PREFERRED: Familiarity with PHP, MySQL, Javascript, Jquery. Understanding of Linux and Windows system administration. Understanding of network administration.
