We're looking for a user interface designer with solid design and usability knowledge to help out with a variety of projects - web, touch screen, and mobile. We create user interface designs from concept to design to development for enterprise, B2B, consumer, and social media projects of varying sizes.

Responsibilities

• Must have visual design capabilities
• Focus on the usability and aesthetic qualities of design for social networks, enterprise applications, SaaS, etc.
• Work closely with product team to determine features and priorities
• Produce quality UI work that is developmentally feasible and solves clients' problems
• Experience with visual design, IA documents, wireframes

Experience

• Solid understanding of user centered design principles
• Understanding of how code affects design and vice versa
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• 2+ years of product design, interaction design, industrial design, and/or graphic design
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment
• Expertise in Adobe or other design software (Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, etc.) 
• Strong attention to detail

Compensation

• Contract work; long-term (3+ month), full-time contracts possible.
