Responsibilities:

• Set strategic design direction and communicate a vision for salesforce.com products
• Drive product designs from ideation to implementation
• Communicate designs through mockups and interactive prototypes
• Collaborate with other designers, usability analysts and researchers to inform and validate your designs
• Mentor members of the design staff
• Evangelize new interface guidelines and design patterns
• Represent salesforce.com through presentations at major user experience and design conferences
• Thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, agile environment

Required Skills/Experience:

• Expert understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices
• Expert knowledge of design tools such as OmniGraffle, PhotoShop, Fireworks, or Illustrator
• Generate interactive prototypes using basic HTML, CSS, Javascript or Flex
• Ability to communicate your ideas to a wide variety of key stakeholders
• Ability to lead and manage large design initiatives

Desired Skills:

• At least 6 years experience in user interface and interaction design with significant experience designing rich interactive Web applications for the consumer or enterprise
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or related field or equivalent experience required, Master's preferred
