The Engineer role requires you to be passionate about and well versed in (X)HTML, JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks, CSS, XML and Web 2.0. Familiarity with rapid development languages such as PHP is also a big plus. This position will require some interaction with clients, primarily via phone and email, but occasional in-person meetings might be needed. You  will work closely with the Design and User Experience teams.

This position will predominantly focus on end-user oriented applications that need to be integrated with back-end technology.

Responsibilities include:

    • Working closely with Design and User
       Experience team members to define
       customer  requirements and formulate
       the design
    • Creating client side code which includes
       XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML and
       integrating with RIA objects such as Flash
    • Following and tracking changes in the
       technology landscape
    • Carrying out additional, unanticipated
       supplementary/complementary tasks as
       required.

Skills/Qualifications include:

    • Highly organized and detail-oriented
    • Ability to debug existing client side code and
       PHP as needed and troubleshoot
       performance issues
    • Experience in CMS, Social Networking
       Platforms and eCommerce platforms are a
       plus
    • Ability to find efficient and effective solutions
       to complex problems and to
       multi-task
    • Strong sense of ownership of process and
       results
    • Education: College degree in a related field
       and 3-5 years industry experience as
       a Developer
    • Knowledge of three or more of the following:
       Microsoft Sharepoint 2007, Apache,
       Microsoft IIS, Websphere, Weblogic, ATG,
       Symfony, Zend, .NET.
