We are a Morris County, NJ-based agency in need of a passionate, experienced Web designer to help us create great Web presences for our varied and growing base of clients.

As of now, we are seeking a freelancer to fill this position, but can transition the candidate into full-time work if the chemistry is just right.

We're searching for a true Web Geek; someone who has an appreciation for amazing site work, stays current on contemporary Web design trends, and understands how those trends relate to a client's business model and objectives.

In the end, our philosophy is "put the user first."  We create incredible user experiences and we want team members that share this mindset.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• Uncanny Photoshop skills
• At least a basic understanding of client-side technologies (jQuery, Ajax frameworks, etc.) as well as at least a cursory appreciation of standards-based HTML and CSS (please note: programming/mark-up skills are not a pre-requisite for the job; we just want to work with folks that "get" how the whole picture comes together.)
• An interest in information architecture and in creating a great user experience for different types of clients (everything from banks to fashion to non-profits).
• At least three year's-worth of professional Web design experience
• A strong portfolio of samples that illustrate what we're looking for above

In addition: The right candidate will accompany us to client pitch meetings and participate in project discussions; accordingly, we are looking for designers in the NY/NJ area that can reach us via train or car and are comfortable in presentation/brainstorming environments.

Finally, please note that we are looking for full-time freelancers (no moonlighters, please).  Given the amount and urgency of our deadlines, we need to work with folks that are available during the day (and sometimes the night!).
