(Calgary, AB) About Us: We're a tiny startup with big aspirations in the social web and social application space. We're building something that will scratch our own itch, delight our users, and maybe change the world a little. We're looking for a driven, dedicated and flexible web designer to join our team. You'll help us build social applications and associated pages. Initial placement is a 3 month contract with the potential for full time employment. Requirements: - Expert hand coding of HTML and CSS (HTML 5 and CSS 3)
- Photoshop expertise
- Adherence to and passion for web standards
- Better than average design sensibilities
Bonus points for: - Ability to write Javascript
- Experience with Ruby on Rails
- Experience with source control (Git)
- Experience working with an integrated team (designers, developers, copy)
- Experience with mobile development & design
