Newsquest Digital Media is looking for an experienced PHP developer with LAMP experience. The successful candidate will be a highly capable PHP developer with detailed knowledge of both OO (Object Orientated) and procedural PHP using PHP 5 and MySQL 5.  You will need excellent and proven diagnosis and debugging abilities with both Apache server and PHP coding issues.

Excellent HTML skills are a pre-requisite while some knowledge of legacy ASP would be an advantage as would any Perl or Linux system administration experience.

You will work with a small team based in Watford helping develop systems and procedures which keep the company to the forefront of profitable digital publishing as well as supporting others in the business achieve the same.

The role is permanent, full time and includes 25 days annual holiday per year plus statutory days.
