At present, we have an excellent opportunity for a eBusiness Web User Interface Manager  in our Englewood, CO location.     As the UI manager, you will be a critical member of Arrow’s eBusiness team.   You will be responsible for managing a team of Web Front-End Developers to drive Arrow's Global Components website.   You will lead the effort to transform the eBusiness UI initiatives through the User Experience design, Customer Testing to UI development and maintenance.   In this role, you will specifically be responsible for the following:  

• To provide line management and leadership of the User Experience and User Interface team, to include full responsibility for the recruitment and retention.
• Work collaboratively with the global marketing teams, supplier marketing, eBiz Business leadership, IT team and other 3rd parties involved in Arrow's global web network.
• Review functional specifications, wireframes, HTML mock ups with customers and the product design team
• Insure that the correct processes, reviews, and best practices are in place; insure that correct standards are met and relevant artifacts created.
• Provide technical and visual design oversight for all UI deployment issues.
• To manage the vendor interface to Webtrends and to insure that the maximum business value is being derived.
• Maximizing the SEO value of Arrow’s transactional data content

    Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years professional web development experience, preferably in a B-to-B e-commerce environment
• At least 3+ years in a management role with staff responsibility
• Excellent communication, project management, and time management skills.
• In depth knowledge of Web Development technologies - to include HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, JSP,jQuery, XSLT, XML, XHTML and mobile technologies.
• Solid understanding of server-side Java development including J2EE technologies (JSP/Servlets/Taglib/JSTL, JDBC, JMS, etc.), web services (SOAP), XML, HTTP.
• Clear understanding of various browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome) and the coding standards required producing a consistent user experience.
• Requires experience with web page optimization techniques (both in file size, compression options and perceived/actual rendering speed)
• Experience with implementing Search Engine Optimization techniques
• Demonstrated ability to write clear technical documentation.
• Problem solving skills with the ability to research, analyze and find solutions independently.
