Job Summary

This position will be responsible for front-end coding for our projects, which include reporting, portals, workflow tools, search, surveys, social networking, and more. You’ll work closely with our small team of designers and developers to create powerful, modern, features for our web-based applications.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Translate design deliverables (prototypes, comps, etc.) into clean, standards-compliant front-end code.
• Work with other developers to ensure final markup is standards compliant.
• Work with designers to identify opportunities to enhance the user experience through effective use of front-end solutions.
• Influence and advance the functionality of our products; recommend UI solutions and best practices.
• Continually seek out new technologies and trends to use in our products.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and throughout the organization.

 Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Extensive XHTML, CSS, DOM and Javascript experience
• Experience with jQuery
• Understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
• Adept at troubleshooting browser quirks
• Able to work independently or collaboratively
• PHP experience is a plus
• UI design and/or usability experience is a plus
• Mobile app development is a plus
• Desire to constantly learn and improve
• Experience with web-based SaaS applications highly desired
