Globe Runner SEO, a Search Engine Optimization & Web Solutions firm in Lewisville, TX, is seeking an experienced Facebook Developer to begin as soon as possible.

Position will be on an as needed basis. You will be able to work from home.  Candidate must be local & able to come in to the office at least once a week for project management meetings.

You must be personable, energetic, attentive to detail, & work well with small multidisciplinary teams. We are a very fun, fast paced, tight-knit group akin to a family.

Key Responsibilities
* Interpret client objectives, business requirements & transform them into efficient lean custom customer friendly web applications
* Your focus will be on Facebook Application Development & CMS driven websites
* Integration of open source technologies & frameworks web
* Coordinate & work efficiently with our small team: designers, project managers & front end developers
* Invent and/or generate scalable modular custom web application product offerings
* Lead and provide Involvement in full development life cycle; design, coding, test, build, QA, deployment & maintenance

Requirements for this position are as follows:
* Bachelors Degree or Higher, Computer Science or related fields (Graduate students are fine!)
* Minimum 3+ years as a programmer or web application developer
* Core Competencies in PHP, MySQL, Javascript & Javascript Libraries (jQuery), xhtml/css
* Understanding of W3C standards & Tableless Design
* Strong grasp of cross-browser development & QAT processes
* Linux familiarity; able to use Bash to accomplish tasks
* A good understanding & examples of Zend framework & practical usage
* Ability to work on multiple projects efficiently & complete tasks on time.
* Firm grasp of best practices in design, usability, SEO & UI
* Ability to utilize SCM systems like git/svn
* Provide their own laptop or equipment

Bonus Requirements:
* Facebook API Familiarity with CMS like Wordpress or Drupal
* Examples of usage of other API’s
* Familiarity with Actionscript, & or Flash Technologies
* Wordpress / Drupal Module or Plugin experience
* SugarCRM Plugin Development
* Agency experience

* Ability to work remotely (Candidate must still be local) * Flexible Scheduling; you pick your hours within our business hours.
